Manage Energy, Not Just Time

Your hours don’t matter—your energy does. Here’s why.

A few years ago, I used to obsess over my calendar.
A specific color for each activity. Smart reminders. Optimized to the second.

And guess what? I’d hit 4 p.m. feeling like trash, like I went to war.
Completely fried. Sad. Irritated by my own to-do list.

My mistake? 🤔
I was organizing time like I was some sort of robot, programmed for perfection — not realizing I was human, running on energy (and caffeine), not solar power.

🔐 You can’t “work” your way through exhaustion.
🔐 Nine working hours mean nothing if your brain’s on 3%.

It’s not about doing more.
It’s about focusing on what actually matters.

If you’ve been trying to squeeze more out of your day but keep burning out, you’re not lazy.
You’re wasting your energy.

So instead of asking:
👉️ “How many things can I do today?”
Start asking:
👉️ “What actually matters today? What’s important today?”

Ask yourself:

  • If energy were money, where would you spend it?

  • When do I actually feel the best (not surfing on caffeine)?

  • What will be the result of doing all these things? Will my life change?

You don’t need more things to do. 🤷‍♂️
You need to focus on what actually matters, and stop treating yourself like a robot.
You are human.
